The Main Reason Why Christians Fail!

Prayerlessness!

After fifty years of walking with the Savior, I can honestly say that lack of prayer in my own life is my weakest area.

When God desires to change our lives, many times he allows us to fall flat on our faces, in order to make us focus our attention on Him. A life in crisis, is a life that cries out to a loving God to rescue him from the crisis. This page will be very short, and I just want to share some questions you might ask yourself today. I recently asked myself the same questions, and I did not like the answers I gave myself. I determined a plan of action to change this weakness in my life.

The Questions!

1. When is the last time you knelt down on your knees before Almighty God and prayed to Him?

2. When is the last time you prayed with a friend who was going though some crisis in their life? Did you kneel with them before the throne of God?

3. When is the last time you knelt with your children, your spouse, or your parents, and prayed with them?

4. When is the last time you knelt with your pastor and prayed with him?

You can make up your own list from here. Ask God to convict your heart and give you clear direction on improving your prayer life.

One of the most amazing quotes I have ever heard about prayer was from an old saint, E. M. Bounds.

"More things are wrought by prayer than this world dreamed of."

"Jesus went out as usual to the Mount of Olives, and his disciples followed him. On reaching the place, he said to them, 'Pray that you will not fall into temptation.' He withdrew about a stone's throw beyond them, knelt down and prayed. Luke 22:39-41

"Call unto me and I will answer you, and show you great and mighty things which you know not." Jeremiah 33:3
