Gospel Film Ministry is dedicated to bringing the Lord Jesus Christ to the people of India.
I first met Rathna Kumar many years ago on my web site. We have stayed in contact since then. During the last four years his ministry has intensified as he has assembled a team of men and women to travel around India and show the "Jesus Film".
Background of the Gospel Film Ministry:From Rathna Kumar
In 2006, I got this vision about the Film ministry and then I continued in prayers for the ministry. I shared the vision with likeminded friends including my friend in the United States, Jim Young. Then we started on 27th August 2010 and registered as Gospel Film Trust. In the coming days we are going to extend this ministry around India. Every District will have 1 Projector, 1 Laptop, Power and Audio system with 1 Evangelist.
We started on 10th October 2012 and we dedicated the Gospel Film Ministry in the Presence of 70 Pastors from different regions. We purchased with my money Rs: 145000 New Epson Projector, Few Gospel Movies CD, Power and Audio system. From that day until now we have visited 396 villages and 18,610 people have seen the Gospel movies. By His grace after two years through you and other friends God helped us to buy a van for this ministry.
Ministy report 4th year. 1. The team has visited 396 villages as of today.
2. The number of people viewing the love of Christ through the Jesus film projected in many villages totals
18,610!! Praise the Lord!!!
3. An estimated 10% (1,861) of those who saw the film of Jesus gave their life to Christ! Praise the Lord!!!
4. In this year, we were blessed with the opportunity to purchase a vehicle for ministry travels. This was a miracle by God! Many family members and friends blessed the ministry by giving money for this purpose and we are very grateful. By the grace of God, we am paying the EMI payment every month without delay. Praise the Lord!!!
5. I purchased an amplifier, electrical cable wires and a laptop cable wire. Thanks to Jesus Christ!
6. I am continuing to distribute the New Testament Bibles and “The Gospel of the Kingdom of God” Christian Brochure to everyone…. wherever the Lord sends us through the ministry.
7. Our team consists of 6 members who are ministering for the sake of Jesus Christ through Gospel Film Ministry.
8. On behalf of all of us at Gospel Film Ministries…Thank you to everyone who continues to encourage and help through prayers and support…I am deeply grateful for allowing us into your hearts. Thank you to those who are viewing and praying through social media like Facebook & the website.
9. Prayer Requests: Please pray for us to be in partnership with “Gideon Bible Membership”. Pray for the amenities for that membership. We are in need of some equipment. We plan to be printing the wall posters of some verses from the Bible. Please pray for the ministry. Through this ministry we will reach many souls in future days for the sake of Jesus Christ.
10. Please pray for the follow-up of these new believers, that they will become involved in a local church and local fellowship. Pray that they might absorb themselves in the Word of God, and grow in their faith. Pray for boldness to share their new belief with their family and friends.
